Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 base salary + production bonus

Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading, mentoring, and supporting the veterinary team
Establishing and maintaining high-quality medical standards
Providing exceptional veterinary care across mixed animal species
Supporting team development, training, and professional growth
Collaborating on practice goals, growth strategies, and operational improvements
Building trusted relationships with clients and the local community
Managing a diverse caseload including wellness appointments, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas
Strong clinical experience in small animal, mixed animal, or general practice medicine
Confidence managing a varied caseload across companion animals and large animals
A passion for mentoring and developing veterinary professionals
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A collaborative approach with a desire to make a meaningful impact
