The Opportunity
A small rural independent practice in the North Lakes is looking for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly team. This is a varied mixed role in a beautiful Cumbria location, offering a relaxed working environment, strong work-life balance and the opportunity to become part of a progressive practice.
The Role
This is a mixed veterinary role with an approximate caseload split of 50% large animal, 45% small animal and 5% equine. The practice is ideally looking for a vet with a minimum of two years’ experience, although part-time applicants are also welcome.
The team runs standard 30-minute consultations and aims to create a calm, supportive working environment. Certificate study is supported, and partnership could be a long-term possibility for the right person.
The Practice
This is a small, rural, independent practice based in a village setting in Cumbria, around 10 minutes from the M6 and the nearest train station, and approximately 10 miles from Ullswater.
The practice has a close-knit team and places emphasis on employee wellbeing, support and work-life balance. The location would suit someone looking for a scenic rural setting with access to the Lake District.
