Responsibilities
As a Night Veterinary Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional nursing care during out-of-hours periods
Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients throughout the night
Supporting emergency and critical care cases
Delivering excellent patient advocacy and welfare standards
Communicating effectively with clients during urgent situations
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Working collaboratively with the overnight veterinary team
Ensuring high standards of clinical care and professionalism are maintained
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
A RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Passionate about emergency and critical care nursing
Confident working independently during overnight shifts while supported by the wider team
Dedicated to delivering gold-standard patient and client care
A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
Calm, organised, and able to manage a varied emergency caseload
