An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to join a purpose-built independent veterinary practice in Whiteley, Hampshire.
This role offers a unique blend of first opinion and referral-level orthopaedic work, supported by advanced facilities, an experienced team, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
Compensation & Benefits
£45,000 - £70,000 | dependent on experience
Full-time preferred, part-time considered
1 in 4 Saturday mornings only (8am–12pm)

Role Overview
The Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon will play a key role in delivering high-quality surgical and clinical care, managing a varied caseload that includes both routine orthopaedic procedures and more complex referral cases.

Key Responsibilities
Perform orthopaedic consultations and surgical procedures
Manage referral and first-opinion orthopaedic cases
Work collaboratively with experienced vets and specialists
Deliver high standards of patient and client care
Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans
Contribute to ongoing clinical excellence within the team
Working Pattern
Full-time preferred (part-time considered)
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8am–12pm)

Candidate Requirements
MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Strong interest or experience in orthopaedics
Experience in small animal practice
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to high clinical standards
