Location: Northeast Florida (Jacksonville Area)
Schedule: Full Time | Overnight ER | Flexible Block Scheduling
Compensation:$180,000 – $230,000+, plus production and overnight shift differentials (DOE)

About the Practice
A privately owned, multi-location emergency and specialty veterinary group in Northeast Florida is expanding and seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join its team.
The practice is known for delivering high-quality emergency and critical care in a collaborative, well-supported environment. With access to advanced diagnostics and specialty support, you’ll be empowered to focus on efficient, high-level emergency medicine during overnight shifts.
This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy the pace and autonomy of overnight ER work, while still having strong clinical and technical support.
The Role
Provide emergency and critical care to small animal patients during overnight hours
Perform diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment of urgent cases
Manage a varied and interesting ER caseload
Collaborate with specialists and referral partners as needed
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Who We’re Looking For
DVM or VMD (licensed or eligible in Florida)
Experience in emergency medicine preferred
Confident working independently in an overnight setting
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset despite autonomous schedule
Strong GP veterinarians with ER interest are encouraged to apply.
