Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Perform comprehensive patient examinations and medical assessments
Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Conduct surgical and dental procedures
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and preventative care
Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols
Maintain accurate patient records
Monitor hospitalised cases and participate in clinical rounds where appropriate
Promote teamwork and efficient daily hospital operations

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary institution
Current veterinary licence or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
DEA registration or ability to obtain and maintain registration
1+ years of veterinary practice experience preferred
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
