  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent

  • Veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico

  • DEA licence or eligibility to obtain licensure

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, client-focused approach to veterinary medicine
