Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical work-ups.

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions across companion animals and large animals.

  • Perform routine and advanced surgical and dental procedures.

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.

  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

  • Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.

  • Collaborate closely with the veterinary and support teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

  • Assist with maintaining clinical protocols and high standards throughout the practice.

  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education and practice development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.

  • An active veterinary licence or eligibility for licensure in Mississippi.

  • DEA registration or the ability to obtain and maintain registration.

  • At least one year of veterinary clinical experience.

  • Strong diagnostic, surgical and dentistry skills.

  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.

  • A collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality patient care.
