Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 annually (full-time equivalent, prorated based on hours worked)

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in companion animals
Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing
Educate clients on preventative care, treatment options, and ongoing wellness plans
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Prescribe medications and ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations
Monitor hospitalized patients and participate in case management discussions
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
Support hospital protocols, operational efficiency, and patient care initiatives
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
Active Massachusetts veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
DEA registration or ability to obtain and maintain registration
Minimum of one year of veterinary practice experience preferred
Strong diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to veterinary care

Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
