This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to remain actively involved in emergency medicine, emergency surgery and endoscopy while benefiting from the flexibility of a part-time schedule.

The published compensation benchmarks are $140,000–$350,000 per year on a full-time equivalent basis, inclusive of base salary and discretionary production bonus target, with an expected full-time base benchmark of $180,000–$200,000. Actual part-time compensation will depend on the agreed working schedule and applicable compensation structure.

Veterinarians also receive significant investment in professional development, including unlimited emergency-focused continuing education, structured clinical and leadership programmes and an annual CE travel stipend.

About the Practice

This emergency-focused veterinary environment operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing immediate veterinary care across a diverse range of urgent and critical presentations.

The hospital follows an open-concept, client-centred approach to emergency medicine, designed to provide rapid veterinary assessment while allowing pet owners to remain closely involved in their pet's care.

Emergency veterinarians see an exceptionally varied caseload encompassing dogs, cats and exotic species, providing opportunities to continually strengthen clinical and surgical skills.

Doctors have access to diagnostic capabilities including ultrasound, radiography, laboratory testing and biopsy procedures, alongside emergency surgical and endoscopic capabilities.

A strong emphasis is placed on clinical mentorship and continuous learning, with support available both on the hospital floor and through dedicated emergency veterinary education programmes.

For veterinarians interested in developing beyond clinical practice, additional leadership education provides opportunities to build management and mentoring capabilities.
