Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annually + production bonus (DOE)

The practice focuses exclusively on feline health, creating a low-stress, comfortable environment designed around the unique needs of cats. The team is passionate about fear-free handling, innovative medicine, and building long-term relationships with feline patients and their owners.

The hospital offers advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:

  • Digital radiography

  • Digital dental X-rays

  • In-house laboratory testing

  • Ultrasound

  • Laser therapy

  • Radioactive iodine (I-131) treatment for feline hyperthyroidism

Responsibilities

The Feline Veterinarian will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality preventative, medical, and diagnostic care for feline patients.

  • Delivering compassionate, fear-free veterinary medicine.

  • Building strong relationships with cat owners through education and communication.

  • Performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning.

  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to maintain excellent patient care standards.

  • Utilising advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options to support feline health.

  • Maintaining accurate medical records and clinical documentation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Eligibility for a Colorado veterinary licence in good standing.

  • A strong interest in feline medicine and patient wellbeing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A compassionate approach to handling cats and supporting their owners.

Experience or certification with I-131 radioactive iodine treatment is welcomed but not required.

This opportunity is well suited to experienced feline veterinarians, as well as small animal veterinarians looking to specialise further in feline medicine within a supportive environment.
