About the Role
An excellent opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in Chippenham, Wiltshire, offering a salary of up to £31,000 pro rata depending on experience.
This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week, worked across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with flexible working hours and shift patterns where possible.
The role offers an excellent work-life balance, with no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities and a shared 1 in 4 Saturday rota.
You will join an established nursing team where RVNs are encouraged to take ownership of their clinical responsibilities, run nurse-led clinics and utilise their skills through Schedule 3 procedures.
About the Practice
The practice is a modern, well-equipped first-opinion veterinary surgery in Chippenham, with excellent transport links close to the M4 and local railway station.
There is also a large on-site car park with free parking for colleagues and clients.

The nursing team consists of four RVNs and two Veterinary Care Assistants, supported by reception colleagues and a Practice Manager.
Dedicated Client Care Advisors help manage the client journey, allowing the nursing team to focus on their clinical responsibilities and patient care.
The practice also works alongside visiting orthopaedic and ultrasonography specialists, providing additional opportunities to broaden clinical experience.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care across a varied first-opinion caseload.
Monitor anaesthesia and support patients throughout surgical procedures.
Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring.
Conduct nurse consultations.
Run nurse-led clinics.
Undertake appropriate Schedule 3 procedures.
Assist Veterinary Surgeons with medical and surgical cases.
Support visiting specialists where appropriate.
Assist with ordering and maintaining clinical stock.
Maintain high standards of patient welfare and clinical care.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Work independently while contributing positively to the wider clinical team.
Candidate Profile
