This role is ideal for a compassionate RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking for Veterinary Nurse jobs in Telford where they can enjoy a varied clinical workload within a supportive and collaborative team.
You will play a key role in delivering nurse-led consultations, supporting veterinary surgeons during procedures, and providing exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical, regulatory, and operational excellence.
The role includes 22 hours per week across two 10-hour days, 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour veterinary hospital, one Bank Holiday shift, and one week of on-call duties per year, offering valuable exposure to emergency and out-of-hours care.

Responsibilities
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional patient and client care
Carrying out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
Supporting veterinary surgeons during surgeries and clinical procedures
Completing pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Monitoring hospitalised patients and providing high-quality inpatient nursing
Managing patient admissions and discharges
Supporting patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities where required
Dispensing and checking medications
Maintaining accurate clinical records and regulatory compliance
Supporting effective communication and teamwork within the practice
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
A RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
Experienced working within a busy small animal practice
Confident supporting nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
Organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining high clinical standards

Compensation & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive:
Salary: £17,000 per annum
