An excellent opportunity is available for a Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian, offering a focused role in after-hours urgent care medicine for canine and feline patients.

This position is ideal for veterinarians seeking flexibility, strong work-life balance, and a fast-paced clinical environment without the demands of full emergency medicine. The caseload focuses entirely on urgent care only—no wellness appointments and no abdominal surgeries.

Typical cases include wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, lameness, minor injuries, and euthanasia, allowing veterinarians to practice high-quality medicine in a streamlined, efficient setting.

With single-doctor shifts, strong technical support, and modern facilities, this role provides both autonomy and collaboration in a supportive environment.

This is a modern, paperless urgent care veterinary hospital designed specifically to bridge the gap between daytime general practice and overnight emergency care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality urgent care for canine and feline patients

  • Diagnose and treat common urgent cases including minor injuries and illness

  • Provide exceptional client communication and education

  • Manage multiple cases efficiently during single-doctor shifts

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

  • Support and mentor team members through clinical leadership

  • Contribute to a positive hospital culture and exceptional client experience

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree or equivalent

  • Eligible for or holding a state veterinary license

  • Strong interest in urgent care medicine

  • Comfortable working independently in a single-doctor shift environment

  • Excellent communication and client service skills

  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care

  • Interest in mentorship and team development is highly valued

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary + optional ProSal with no negative accrual (Salary ranging from $175,000 to $195,000 - RATED AT FULL-TIME)
