Salary: £53,000 - £65,000

Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, CICs, and charities
-
Conduct bank reconciliations and other business calculations
-
Prepare personal tax calculations
-
Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
-
Manage client portfolio and work schedule effectively
-
Liaise with clients, HMRC, Companies House, and other regulatory bodies
-
Perform administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, and filing
-
Ensure proficiency in accounting software including Excel, Sage, Xero, and IRIS (IRIS experience not essential)
Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax, VAT, and business calculations
-
Proven ability to manage a client portfolio

Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills

Proficient in Excel, Sage, Xero, with IRIS experience desirable
