The Role: Accounts Senior – Chartered Accountants, Bolton
The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering high-quality accounts and tax work while supporting junior team members. Acting as a key client contact, the Accounts Senior will ensure compliance, accuracy and strong commercial insight across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of year-end statutory accounts

Preparation of corporation tax returns

Production of management accounts

Preparation and review of VAT returns

Managing a portfolio of SME clients

Reviewing work completed by junior staff

Providing technical guidance and mentoring

Supporting client advisory projects

Ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met
Skills and Experience Required

ACCA or ICAEW qualified or part-qualified

Strong technical knowledge of accounts and taxation

Experience within a UK accountancy practice

Proficiency with accounting and tax software

Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence

Strong organisational and time management skills

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
