Assistant Client Manager
Location: Harrogate
Hours: Full time

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various sectors
- Prepare and review statutory accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations
- Provide tailored financial advice to support clients' business goals
- Maintain strong, proactive client relationships
- Support the delivery of audit and assurance services (if applicable)
- Mentor and assist junior team members in their development
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities on client matters
Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE
- Proven experience in an accountancy practice setting
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify value-added opportunities
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
