Salary: £53,000 - £70,000

Key Responsibilities
-
Manage and lead multiple audit assignments from planning to completion
-
Supervise audit and accounts teams, providing mentorship and guidance
-
Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports for technical accuracy
-
Monitor and manage audit budgets and team workloads
-
Run weekly update meetings reporting to directors
-
Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for audit matters
-
Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
-
Stay up to date with UK accounting and auditing standards
-
Support business development efforts, including proposals and identifying new opportunities
Key Requirements
-
ACA/ACCA qualified with 3–5 years post-qualified audit experience
-
Proven experience managing audit assignments and teams in practice
-
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards

Commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software such as IRIS, TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
-
Proactive, highly organised, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
