Overview: This is a dynamic role blending audit and accounts responsibilities, ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assist in planning and executing audit assignments across various industries.
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely completion of client work.
- Prepare VAT returns and corporate tax computations.
- Liaise directly with clients, addressing queries and providing financial advice.
- Support and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development.
Candidate Profile:
- AAT Level 4 qualified, or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
