A growing accountancy practice in Lancaster is looking for an experienced Audit Senior or Semi-Senior to join their team. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of clients, professional development, and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for clients across different industries and sizes

Prepare and review financial statements for companies, partnerships, and sole traders

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end processes

Review work of junior team members and provide guidance where needed

Attend client meetings, including audit openings and closings

Support senior staff in delivering high-quality audit reports
Candidate Requirements
-
ACA / ACCA part-qualified or equivalent experience in audit

Previous experience in statutory audits and preparation of financial statements

Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous

Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel
-
Attention to detail, organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple client deadlines
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:45 am – 5:00 pm (36.25 hours per week)
