Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Hours: Full time, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: Up to £33,000
Company overview: A regional accountancy practice with over 125 years of history and offices across North and West Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio of clients and have primary responsibility for their compliance reporting
- Preparation of weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, monthly, and annual payrolls in the required timely fashion
- Inform client of any HMRC liabilities, pension liabilities and any other liabilities due to the payroll
- Make submissions to HMRC and pension providers in the required time
- Liaise with client managers when there is an issue they need to be aware of regarding their client or need their assistance
- Ensure all deadlines are met where possible and if not, the Team Leader is informed
- Deal with queries received from clients and pass on to the appropriate colleague where necessary
- Liaise with HMRC and other external sources as required
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Review of any further services can be provided by the firm to increase fee income or areas to enhance client service
