Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for a variety of client types
• Produce and submit VAT returns
• Assist with management accounts preparation
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
• Complete self-assessment tax returns through to client sign-off
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and gather financial data
• Support and mentor junior team members where required
• Ensure all work is delivered accurately and within deadlines

Requirements

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
• 2–4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT
• Proficient in Excel and cloud-based accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
• Ambitious with a desire to progress and complete professional studies
