The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA professional seeking a varied role with genuine flexibility and long-term progression. The position offers exposure to accounting, advisory, forecasting and client relationship management, alongside the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a modern accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation and presentation of year-end accounts for a varied client portfolio
Production of management accounts, forecasts and budgets
Preparation of business and personal tax computations
Supporting audit assignments where required
Providing financial direction and business advisory support to clients
Working with business owners to develop action plans and growth strategies
Liaising directly with clients regarding accounting and commercial queries
Managing relationships with HMRC on behalf of clients
Supporting recruitment, mentoring and management of junior accounting staff
Representing the business professionally with existing and prospective clients
Assisting with business development and client growth initiatives
Candidate Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified
Minimum of two years’ post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice
Strong technical accounting and accounts preparation knowledge
Experience preparing management accounts and tax computations
Audit exposure advantageous
Strong commercial awareness and client advisory capability
Experience using cloud and desktop accounting systems including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and IRIS
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
Positive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
