Semi-Senior Accountant
Location: Leeds
Hours: Full time
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience
About the Firm

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Management of VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and financial matters
- Liaising with HMRC and assisting with tax compliance
- Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work where appropriate
- Working closely with managers and partners to ensure timely delivery of client services
About You
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA (study support available)
- At least 2 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
