Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Work closely with owner-managed businesses and respond to client queries

  • Accounts Preparation: Prepare accounts and financial statements accurately and on time

  • Personal Tax Returns: Prepare individual client tax returns

  • Record Processing: Maintain accurate client records

  • Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts to meet client needs

  • VAT Returns: Complete and check VAT returns ensuring compliance

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff

  • Administration: Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as required


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting practice

  • AAT Level 4 qualified, or currently studying ACCA

  • Experience with IRIS, Xero, and Sage preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive client service approach

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

  • Professional, confidential, and results-oriented team player
