Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients including SMEs and owner-managed businesses
Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
Prepare VAT returns and support VAT compliance work
Assist with corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
Support senior team members on client assignments and ad hoc projects
Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with deadlines
Utilise cloud accounting software and digital tools to improve efficiency
Requirements
AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent)
Previous experience within an accountancy practice
Strong understanding of accounts preparation and VAT
Good IT skills including Excel and cloud-based accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with a proactive approach to client service
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively
Desirable Skills
Experience with software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Exposure to a varied client portfolio including SMEs
Experience working within a fast-paced practice environment
