Senior Accountant – Hale (Accountancy Practice Role)
A growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Hale is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join its expanding team on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity
This Senior Accountant role in Hale offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
The successful candidate will take ownership of accounts preparation and client relationships while supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a range of clients
Preparing company tax computations and supporting compliance work
Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
Coaching and mentoring more junior staff within the accounts team
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Liaising directly with clients regarding accounting and financial queries
Assisting managers and directors with client projects and advisory work
Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and regulations
Supporting workflow management and meeting client deadlines
Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
Strong accounts preparation experience across a varied client portfolio
Good working knowledge of accounting software including Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Experience reviewing or mentoring junior staff is advantageous
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service
