A well-established, independent chartered accountancy practice in Leicester is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their growing team.

The Role – Senior Accountant / Client Manager
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will manage your own portfolio while supporting and developing junior team members.
You will work closely with Partners, taking ownership of client relationships and ensuring high-quality delivery across accounts and tax services.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of limited company clients across a variety of industries
Reviewing accounts preparation and tax work completed by junior staff
Finalising accounts files for Partner review and sign-off
Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing advice and support
Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members
Ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
Liaising closely with Partners on technical and client matters
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
Strong background within a UK accountancy practice
Experience managing or supporting a client portfolio
Confident reviewing work and supporting junior staff
Solid knowledge of accounts preparation and corporation tax
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
