Senior Payroll Administrator
Location: Leeds, LS8
Hours: Full time
Salary: Up to £35,000

Job Details
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing across a varied multi-client portfolio
- Manage RTI submissions, pension auto-enrolment, PAYE, NI, CIS, and statutory payments
- Handle year-end reporting including P60s, P11Ds, and benefits in kind
- Act as primary client liaison for all payroll-related matters and HMRC correspondence
- Maintain and update payroll software; ensure compliance with current UK legislation
- Collaborate with in-house bookkeeping and tax teams for integrated service delivery
- Supervise and support junior payroll staff, ensuring high standards and accuracy
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years’ UK payroll experience, ideally within a bureau or practice environment
- Strong working knowledge of PAYE, pensions, RTI, and statutory obligations
- Proficient in Sage Payroll or similar platforms; Xero experience advantageous
- CIPP qualification desirable
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and client communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
