Responsibilities
Clinical Nursing
Deliver exceptional standards of clinical nursing care.
Support Veterinary Surgeons during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Monitor patients under general anaesthesia and maintain accurate records.
Conduct nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare services.
Perform screening procedures, including auscultation and sample collection.
Administer treatments as directed by Veterinary Surgeons.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.
Follow clinical protocols and ensure best-practice standards are maintained.
Provide attentive care to patients, including those requiring additional support.
Practice Support
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout clinical areas.
Disinfect surgical rooms and medical equipment.
Monitor and maintain stock levels.
Support efficient daily clinic operations.
Ensure all relevant clinical communications and protocols are understood and implemented.
Client Care
Educate pet owners on routine and specialised healthcare.
Provide clear advice and guidance to support ongoing pet wellbeing.
Deliver excellent client communication throughout the patient journey.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
Experience with nurse consultations.
General anaesthetic monitoring experience.
Strong surgical nursing skills and knowledge of quarantine procedures.
Experience using veterinary practice management systems.
Excellent communication skills.
A proactive and independent approach to work.
A collaborative, team-focused attitude.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
