Registered Veterinary Nurse – Barnsley
About the Role
They are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly, close-knit team at Barnsley. This role is suitable for both full-time and part-time candidates and offers the chance to work with a varied and engaging caseload.
The position is 4 x 9-hour days per week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rotation and duty nights on rotation, providing both clinical variety and a supportive work-life balance.

Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of high-standard veterinary care across medical, surgical, and preventive procedures
Support vets and colleagues during consultations, treatments, and procedures
Provide exceptional patient care and client communication
Participate in CPD and professional development initiatives
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and friendly clinic culture
Candidate Profile
Fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enthusiastic and proactive with a commitment to patient care
Keen to develop professionally and take advantage of training opportunities
Flexible and willing to participate in weekends and duty nights on rotation
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £26,000 – £31,000 DOE
40-hour week, 1 in 4 weekend rota
