About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This role offers a salary of up to £30,000 pro rata (DOE) alongside excellent benefits and genuine opportunities for career development.

This is a part-time position, working 35.75 hours per week, with no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks, ensuring a strong focus on work-life balance.

The team consists of multiple veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, student nurses, and dedicated client care staff, fostering a close-knit and collaborative working culture.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out patient admissions and discharges

  • Monitor anaesthesia and assist in surgical procedures

  • Provide high standards of inpatient care and recovery monitoring

  • Support theatre preparation and turnaround alongside support staff

  • Deliver excellent client communication and customer service

  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and non-clinical team

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

  • Solid general nursing experience in small animal practice

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach

  • Passionate about delivering high standards of animal welfare

  • Flexible and willing to support colleagues when required
