  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Practice

This is a well-established, purpose-built small animal practice located on the outskirts of Bristol, offering excellent access to both the city centre and surrounding countryside.

The clinic is modern, spacious, and fully equipped with advanced facilities, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, multiple consult rooms, a large theatre, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and isolation cases.

They are supported by a strong and experienced clinical team, including multiple veterinary surgeons, RVNs, and student nurses, alongside a dedicated client care team. The practice maintains a loyal client base and benefits from a diverse caseload, ensuring a rewarding and engaging working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across a varied caseload

  • Support veterinary surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures

  • Undertake Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate

  • Monitor anaesthesia and provide inpatient care

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold best practice standards

  • Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered) or a confident second-year student nurse

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, organised, and motivated to develop clinically

  • A team player who thrives in a supportive and friendly environment

  • Keen to fully utilise and expand nursing skills
