About the Role
A veterinary practice is seeking an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and supportive companion animal team in Brodie, Liverpool.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £31,000 per year. The role provides a varied nursing caseload with opportunities to use and further develop your clinical skills across consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia and surgical support.
You will play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of patient and client care while working alongside an experienced veterinary team.

CPD: £750 allowance plus 2 days' paid CPD leave

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality nursing and patient care
Running nurse-led consultations and appointments
Undertaking Schedule 3 activities where appropriate
Providing inpatient nursing and patient monitoring
Monitoring anaesthesia during surgical procedures
Supporting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, surgery and procedures
Managing patient admissions and discharges
Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
Maintaining high clinical, operational and regulatory standards
Working collaboratively with the veterinary and nursing teams
Contributing to consistently high standards of patient welfare
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.
You should enjoy a varied small animal nursing role and be comfortable contributing across consultations, theatre, inpatient care and clinical procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, together with a proactive approach to patient welfare and clinical standards.
The position would suit an RVN keen to continue developing their skills, with support available for CPD, funded certificates and longer-term career progression.
