Responsibilities
Clinical Nursing
Deliver exceptional standards of veterinary nursing care.
Support Veterinary Surgeons during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Monitor patients under general anaesthesia and maintain accurate records.
Conduct screening procedures and support preventative healthcare services.
Administer treatments as directed.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
Assist with surgical procedures and ensure excellent theatre standards.
Provide compassionate care for patients, including those requiring urgent attention.
Maintain high standards of infection control and patient welfare.
Practice Support
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across clinical areas.
Disinfect surgical rooms, equipment and treatment spaces.
Monitor and maintain stock levels.
Support the smooth running of daily clinic operations.
Follow clinical protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
Client Care
Participate in nurse consultations and preventative healthcare services.
Educate pet owners on routine and specialised care procedures.
Provide clear advice and guidance throughout the patient journey.
Deliver excellent communication and client service.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
Experience with nurse consultations.
General anaesthetic monitoring experience.
Strong surgical nursing skills and knowledge of quarantine procedures.
Experience using veterinary practice management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
A collaborative and team-focused attitude.
A passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
