Location: Highgate, London
Schedule: Full-time | 8-hour shifts | Rotating shifts between 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:30am–6:00pm and 11:00am–7:30pm

This is a predominantly clinical RVN role, providing exposure to a varied caseload across medical, surgical and inpatient nursing. 3 Veterinary Surgeons
3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
1 Patient Care Assistant
2 Receptionists
1 Hydrotherapy Nurse

Responsibilities
Clinical Nursing
Provide high-quality nursing care across a varied small animal caseload.
Support Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, procedures and diagnostic investigations.
Assist with surgical procedures and dental treatments.
Provide inpatient care, monitoring and recovery support.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate clinical records.
Promote excellent patient welfare and infection control standards.
Practice Support
Work collaboratively with RVNs, Veterinary Surgeons, Patient Care Assistants and reception teams.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of clinical operations.
Assist with stock management and equipment maintenance.
Contribute to maintaining high clinical and operational standards.
Client Care
Deliver exceptional client communication and service.
Support clients throughout the patient journey, from admission through to discharge.
Provide advice, guidance and updates regarding patient care.
Promote preventative healthcare and ongoing wellbeing.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification (RVN) and current registration.
Previous experience working within a busy clinical environment.
Confidence managing a varied medical and surgical caseload.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.
A positive, team-focused approach.
A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and continuing professional development.
