About the Role
A veterinary practice is seeking an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its supportive small animal team in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £31,000 per year, offering a varied nursing caseload alongside excellent opportunities for professional development.
You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills across nurse-led appointments, patient care, surgical support and Schedule 3 procedures, while working closely with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider clinical team.

CPD: £750 allowance plus 2 days' paid CPD leave
About the Practice
The practice provides first-opinion small animal care within a collaborative clinical environment where Veterinary Nurses are encouraged to make full use of their skills.
You will work alongside Veterinary Surgeons and fellow nursing colleagues, with access to wider clinical communities, internal CPD and additional clinical resources.
Professional development is actively supported through funded certificates, structured career pathways and dedicated CPD funding.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients
Running nurse-led consultations and appointments
Undertaking Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
Supporting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, surgery and other procedures
Monitoring patients throughout their treatment and recovery
Managing patient admissions and discharges
Providing clear and compassionate communication to clients
Maintaining high standards of clinical and regulatory compliance
Working collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider practice team
Contributing to consistently high standards of patient welfare and client care
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a strong commitment to patient welfare and excellent client care.
You should enjoy a varied nursing role and be confident working collaboratively within a busy small animal practice.
Strong communication and organisational skills are important, alongside a willingness to develop your clinical abilities and contribute positively to the wider team.
Nurses interested in developing their Schedule 3 skills, nurse consultations or further qualifications will have access to structured development opportunities.
