About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Leicester, Leicestershire. This role offers a salary of £28,000–£30,000 pro rata (DOE) alongside excellent opportunities for hands-on nursing, Schedule 3 procedures, and strong career development.
This is primarily a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, although part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate. The rota includes 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am–5:00pm) with time off in lieu, and there are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, ensuring excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of patient and client care
Manage nurse clinics and support Schedule 3 procedures
Monitor anaesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
Provide inpatient care, patient recovery, and discharge support
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and support teams
Maintain excellent communication with clients and colleagues
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Candidate Profile
Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
Strong general nursing skills within small animal practice
Passionate about delivering excellent patient care and animal welfare
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Positive, proactive, and approachable attitude
Keen to develop further clinical skills, particularly in Schedule 3 procedures
Strong team player who thrives in a supportive environment
