They are supported by a highly experienced and collaborative team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, student nurses, veterinary care assistants, and a dedicated client care team. The practice offers advanced nurse-led clinics covering areas such as behaviour, dentistry, weight management, arthritis, pain management, diabetes, and puppy and kitten consultations. They also perform a wide range of orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures in-house, providing excellent clinical variety.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinary surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures

  • Carry out Schedule 3 procedures including injections, medications, fluid therapy, and first aid

  • Assist with anaesthesia monitoring and post-operative care

  • Take radiographs and support diagnostic procedures

  • Run nurse clinics and provide client education and support

  • Deliver excellent inpatient and intensive nursing care

  • Dispense medications in line with professional guidelines

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered) or confident newly qualified RVN

  • Comfortable working across all areas of small animal practice

  • Passionate about patient care and client service

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive team player who works to a high clinical standard

  • Motivated to contribute to practice growth and team success
