About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and welcoming small animal practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This role offers a salary of up to £32,000 pro rata (DOE) alongside excellent clinical support, strong work-life balance, and genuine opportunities for professional development.
This is a part-time position, working 31.87 hours per week across 3 days, including a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, with no out-of-hours work or overnight inpatient checks, ensuring a manageable and sustainable schedule.

Responsibilities
Manage patient admissions and discharges
Monitor anaesthesia and support surgical procedures
Provide high-quality inpatient care and recovery monitoring
Deliver excellent nursing care across all areas of the practice
Support clients with clear communication and excellent customer service
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and non-clinical team
Candidate Profile
Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Strong general nursing experience within small animal practice
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude
Passionate about delivering outstanding animal welfare
Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Committed to ongoing professional development and learning
