Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to small animal patients.
Assist Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, diagnostics and procedures.
Prepare patients for anaesthesia and surgery.
Monitor anaesthetised patients and provide appropriate perioperative care.
Support hospitalised patients and manage their ongoing nursing needs.
Utilise diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography and ultrasonography.
Assist with laboratory investigations using the in-house laboratory.
Maintain excellent standards of infection control and clinical hygiene.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide compassionate support.
Maintain accurate clinical records.
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider nursing team.
Contribute to a positive and supportive practice environment.
Continue developing clinical knowledge and nursing skills through CPD.
Candidate Profile

RCVS-registered and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse.
