About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a progressive and supportive small animal practice in Straiton, Edinburgh. This role offers a salary of up to £32,000 (DOE) alongside excellent clinical exposure, career development opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), although part-time applications will be considered to support flexibility. The practice operates between 8:30am and 7:00pm, Monday to Saturday, with rota patterns designed to support a healthy work-life balance.

Facilities include a fully equipped in-house laboratory and advanced diagnostic equipment such as digital x-ray and ultrasound, allowing for excellent case work-ups and continuity of care.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care across all areas of the practice
Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and recovery
Conduct nurse consultations and assist with patient admissions and discharges
Maintain high clinical and hygiene standards
Support and mentor less experienced team members where appropriate
Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Deliver excellent client communication and customer service
Candidate Profile
Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Previous experience within a small animal practice setting preferred
Confident across all aspects of veterinary nursing
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead by example and support team development
Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care
Proactive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach
Interest in developing both clinical and non-clinical skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary up to £32,000 (DOE)
