About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an ambitious Registered Veterinary Nurse in Tottenham Hale, North London, to join a small, friendly and inclusive team within a busy first-opinion practice.

The position offers full-time or part-time options, with full-time hours of around 40 hours per week and 1 in 3 weekends. Flexible rota arrangements can be discussed to support individual circumstances and work-life balance.
The role provides the opportunity to utilise a broad range of nursing skills, including Schedule 3 procedures, anaesthesia, nurse consultations and inpatient care.

The practice is located within a modern veterinary facility in Tottenham Hale, providing a busy and fast-paced working environment with an interesting and varied caseload.
The team is small, supportive and inclusive, bringing together Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses with varying levels of experience and a dedicated non-clinical team.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care across a varied small animal caseload.
Support Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, diagnostics and surgical procedures.
Carry out Schedule 3 procedures within appropriate competence.
Monitor anaesthesia and support patients throughout surgical procedures.
Provide comprehensive inpatient care and monitoring.
Conduct nurse-led consultations where appropriate.
Assist with preventative healthcare and routine patient management.
Maintain high standards of patient welfare and clinical hygiene.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider practice team.
Make full use of nursing skills and clinical knowledge throughout the working day.
Contribute to the smooth running of the practice.
Pursue individual clinical interests with support from the wider team.
Participate in CPD and further certificate development.
Help maintain a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who takes pride in delivering consistently high standards of patient and client care.
They should have excellent communication and organisational skills and be comfortable embracing all aspects of the RVN role.
The practice welcomes newly qualified RVNs and experienced nurses alike. Newly qualified candidates will have the opportunity to build confidence and develop their skills, while experienced RVNs can explore further progression and professional development.
