An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse in Twickenham, London, joining a brand-new veterinary practice focused on delivering exceptional patient care through innovation, modern facilities and a people-first approach.
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic RVN who is passionate about clinical excellence, client education and creating outstanding experiences for pets, owners and colleagues.
As part of the opening team for this new clinic, you will play a key role in establishing excellent nursing standards, supporting Veterinary Surgeons and helping shape the culture of a forward-thinking veterinary practice.

Responsibilities
Clinical Nursing
Deliver exceptional standards of veterinary nursing care.
Support Veterinary Surgeons during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Monitor patients under general anaesthesia and maintain accurate records.
Conduct screening procedures, including auscultation and sample collection.
Administer treatments as directed by Veterinary Surgeons.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.
Provide high-quality nursing support across medical and surgical cases.
Ensure excellent patient welfare and infection control standards.
Provide attentive care for unsettled or vulnerable animals.
Practice Support
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across clinical areas.
Disinfect surgical rooms, medical equipment and workspaces.
Monitor and maintain stock levels.
Support the smooth running of daily clinic operations.
Follow clinical protocols and contribute to maintaining excellent standards of care.
Assist with effective quarantine and infection control procedures.
Client Care
Participate in nurse consultations and preventative healthcare services.
Educate pet owners on routine and specialised care procedures.
Provide clear advice and guidance to support pet wellbeing.
Deliver excellent communication throughout the client journey.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
Experience with nurse consultations.
General anaesthetic monitoring experience.
Strong surgical nursing skills and knowledge of quarantine procedures.
Experience using veterinary practice management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
A collaborative, team-focused attitude.
A passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
