About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse in Whetstone, North London, within a modern, purpose-built small animal practice that is continuing to grow.
The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 FTE, depending on experience, alongside generous CPD support, professional memberships and excellent opportunities for career development.
Both full-time and part-time applications are welcomed, with flexible working patterns available to suit the successful candidate.
The practice operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am–7:00pm, and Saturdays, 9:00am–1:00pm on a 1 in 2 rota, with no out-of-hours requirements.

The practice is a purpose-built first-opinion veterinary surgery in Whetstone, designed around high standards of patient care and a positive working environment.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care across a varied first-opinion small animal caseload.
Support Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, diagnostics, procedures and surgery.
Monitor patients throughout anaesthesia, surgery and recovery.
Deliver excellent inpatient and outpatient nursing care.
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, clinical governance and patient welfare.
Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and wider practice colleagues.
Work confidently and independently when required.
Make full use of existing nursing skills while continuing to develop professionally.
Contribute positively to the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative working culture.
Participate in CPD and pursue further professional qualifications where appropriate.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working in a busy first-opinion environment.
They should be passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care and have a proactive, positive approach to their work.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively while also having the confidence to work independently and take ownership of their nursing responsibilities.
They should be keen to fully utilise and develop their nursing skills and embrace all aspects of the RVN role.
Experience as a Clinical Coach, or an interest in becoming one, would be welcomed but is not essential.
