About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Clinical Director or Clinical Director in Peterlee, County Durham, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary leader to join an expanding and supportive team.
The position would suit an established Clinical Director seeking their next progression opportunity, or an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon ready to take their first step into Clinical Director leadership.
The full-time role is 40 hours per week, although part-time working options can be considered.

Responsibilities
Provide strong clinical and people leadership across the practice team.
Set and maintain high clinical standards.
Support the management of complex medical and surgical cases.
Mentor and coach Veterinary Surgeons and wider clinical colleagues.
Develop team capability through regular feedback, support and professional development.
Encourage open communication and collaborative working.
Promote an inclusive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
Help identify opportunities for clinical and operational improvement.
Support colleagues through constructive conversations and regular check-ins.
Maintain a strong focus on patient welfare and exceptional client care.
Contribute to the strategic development of the practice and wider clinical services.
Act as a positive role model for professional standards and leadership behaviours.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon and established or aspiring Clinical Director with strong clinical expertise and a genuine passion for developing people.
They should demonstrate:

Competitive salary, depending on experience (from £50,000 - £75,000)
