About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) to join a brand-new practice opening May 2026 in the heart of Virginia Water. The successful candidate will lead with compassion, inspire colleagues, and make a lasting impact on the local community while shaping the future of a modern, purpose-built facility.
Working alongside a supportive, community-focused team, you’ll manage a varied caseload, combining consults and surgery, with freedom to follow cases from start to finish. The practice is known locally for dentistry and ophthalmology work, with access to visiting specialists and a network of nearby practices for additional support.
This role offers no out-of-hours work, a Saturday rota (8:30am–12:30pm) with Friday afternoon off in lieu, and flexible hours designed to suit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care across a varied and rewarding small animal caseload
Perform routine surgeries and procedures, including dentistry and ophthalmology support
Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to a positive clinical culture
Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear communication and advice
Participate in local community initiatives and practice outreach
Candidate Profile
Veterinary degree with RCVS registration (or eligibility to register)
Experience in primary care practice, with confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong team player, proactive learner, and open to feedback
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per year
