About the Role
An opportunity is available for an Urgent Care Veterinarian within a modern, well-equipped small animal hospital network serving dogs and cats across Southern New Hampshire.
This position offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and clinical autonomy. The role is ideal for a veterinarian with urgent care or emergency experience, particularly those comfortable working evening and weekend hours.
Core operating hours include:
Weekdays: 6pm–10pm
Saturdays: 9am–9pm
Sundays: 9am–8pm
Candidates may work a flexible combination of shifts depending on availability.

Responsibilities
Deliver urgent and emergency veterinary care for small animals
Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
Perform medical case management in an urgent care setting
Utilise in-house diagnostic equipment effectively
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff
Maintain high clinical standards and accurate medical records
Support evening and weekend urgent care operations
Candidate Profile
Qualified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Active veterinary licence in the United States (required)
Experience in emergency or urgent care veterinary medicine preferred
DEA licence preferred but not essential
USDA accreditation preferred but not essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working evening and weekend shifts
Suitable for both new graduates with relevant exposure and experienced veterinarians seeking a flexible urgent care role
