Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality urgent care services for canine and feline patients

  • Diagnose and treat common urgent care conditions, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhoea, minor illnesses, injuries, and euthanasia appointments

  • Deliver compassionate, relationship-based care for patients and clients

  • Collaborate with veterinary colleagues, leadership, and support team members

  • Build strong relationships within the practice and the wider Orlando veterinary community

  • Support the growth and development of veterinary support staff through internal training programmes

  • Manage a varied urgent care caseload during scheduled opening hours

  • Maintain excellent standards of medicine, communication, and client service

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and confident veterinarian who enjoys urgent care medicine and values teamwork, flexibility, and professional development.

Applicants should have:

  • A DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE programme

  • An active veterinary licence in good standing in Florida, or the ability to obtain one

  • Strong clinical, communication, and client relationship skills

  • A passion for small animal medicine and patient-focused care

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with an experienced support team
