Responsibilities
Provide high-quality urgent care for canine and feline patients
Diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent medical conditions and minor injuries
Deliver compassionate, relationship-focused care for patients and clients
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
Collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Mentor and support fellow veterinarians and clinical team members where appropriate
Promote a positive, collaborative culture within the hospital
Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and client communication
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a motivated veterinarian with a passion for urgent care medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Applicants should have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school
An active veterinary licence in Florida, or the ability to obtain one
A minimum of two years' veterinary experience
A current DEA licence and USDA accreditation, or the ability to obtain them upon hire
Strong communication and leadership skills
A collaborative approach and commitment to mentoring colleagues where appropriate
A passion for delivering outstanding veterinary medicine in a fast-paced environment
